Sandip is a serial entrepreneur and has been in the Technology, Telecom and Outsourcing industry for the over 25 years. He started his career at UB Group, India based conglomerate.
Sandip thereafter joined Hutchison as a Head of Networks and marketing, as a marketer he nurtured the company in several directions, both in the brand presence and product development space. In early 2001 Sandip founded Customer First, India’s leading CRM service delivery organization and migrated several Fortune 500 Programs into India in the Telecom, Banking, Retail, Hospitality and Technology segments. Sandip sold Customer First to Aegis and spearheaded global sales and marketing for the group as the Global Chief Marketing Officer. At Aegis, Sandip engineered a spectacular growth story interwoven with organic and inorganic wins. He was also responsible for launching the Essar marketing and driving brand campaign globally.
From less than USD 60 million revenues, his determination and deft marketing skills has transformed Aegis into a USD 1 billion company with over 55,000 employees from 85 nationalities.
Sandip then relocated to Dallas for a 2 year stint as the President and CEO for Customer Lifecycle Management Business. Under his leadership Aegis build the global business in countries like India, the US, South Africa, Australia, Philippines, and the UK, and has added blue chip clients to the Aegis stable.
Sandip is currently the Global CEO of Aegis Limited. He also sits on several boards of its subsidiaries and is a member of the Global Executive Committee of the Group
Sandip epitomizes a legacy of sterling professional experience in the IT / ITeS domain Sandip contributes frequently as an author and speaker at several industry forums across the world. He is part of the NASSCOM BPM Council 2013 and features regularly across leading publications, associations’ articles such as IAOP amongst others. Sandip holds a Bachelor’s Degree Sandip is an honors graduate degree in Economics and has an MBA from a premier business school.
